Sometimes I really really really hate FB.
So, I've got all of these "friends", right? People I either know, or used to know at one point or another during my life. Some of whom I used to be close with, some of whom were just acquaintances, etc.
And, occasionally, I link to their profiles and read what's going on in their lives when I've missed status updates, or comments, or whatever.
Well, for the third time this week, I've managed to come across some old friend/acquaintance who's either the same age as me (33) or older who is... yep, you guessed it... pregnant.
Life sucks sometimes, because of course, I'm still NOT pregnant, and really, I don't know when I'm going to be able to get back to the doctor for assistance with starting the new job and they only having morning hours for u/s appointments.
Sigh. Figures.

my dh's cousin's 19 year old daughter is pregnant. she found out way before me so i hid her updates.
hide any updates that may affect you. it's not worth it. or heck, unfriend them!
oh, did i mention the 19 year old is UNmarried? nice.
i'm still having a hard time enjoying all of this so seeing those updates still upset me. saw the "we're pregnant with twins" one the other day.
It sucks, because you want to be happy for the people in your life who are having a child, but I have become very cynical about it. I cannot be happy for the pregnant women in my life, and I've stopped trying. It's hard to isolate myself from everyone, but I've done a pretty good job of it. Sigh...so sad that we have to go to these extremes.
